Answer me this then…

Who’s the better manager?

Slav or Hecky?

Case closed

Slav is by far the better manager than heckingbottom not even a question

Is heckingbottom a better fit for us because we were so used too playing a certain way yes he is

But if you genuinely think Hecky is better than Slav as a manager then you are on some serious deludamol

I like hecky and he did a good job last year , but he showed massive limitations we got absolutely tonked in that first leg v forest andits should have been game over

Hecky had a massive manager bounce after slav left then he showed his true managerial colors , average with no real pattern of play and could barely motivate them to eat a fish supper we almost threw away a play off place

If you have a top class manager on the shelf you go for it no room for sentiment in football at all

Oh FFS. Here come the facts

The facts are i watched us for the second half of the season look awful we didn't play well for about 3 months

One good performance against forest in the second leg , when they absolutely bottled it btw doesn't change us nearly throwing a play off place away and putting in 3 good performances in 20 games

Wife’s stirred my cup of tea wrong.

Divorce the bitch now!

Tie her to a stake and burn the witch!

Get her in the stocks!

Throw her off the nearest minaret!

Oh hang on, it’s only a cup of tea. It doesn’t matter which way it’s stirred. Phew, thank fuck for that.

You should have never appointed her as your wife in the first place if she cant make a decent cuppa , cut your losses and move on

Well we ‘were’ used to playing a certain way, but what has actually changed in that regard?

We still can only play 3 at the back

So i’m really not sure how Dyche is the answer to our problems, he exclusively plays 4-4-2 (as exclusively as Wilder plays 3-5-2!)

If we’re looking at a new manager i think someone like Corberan would actually be a better fit, at least he plays 3-4-3

Anyone doubting my logic ask yourself two questions

Who is the better manager dyche or hecky ?

Who would you rather have hecky or dyche as our manager ?

If you don’t answer dyche for both you are off your rocker

Couldn’t care less if it was Captain blade in charge

You don’t get the opportunity to have a free run at a manger the calibre of dyche

He won’t be available for long
Stopped reading at ‘my logic’.

They aren’t facts, they are opinions.

If we were in a Premiership relegation fight and clutching at straws then possibly 4-5-1 hoof ball play off the target man might work for us AKA Colin. Dyche is good at working with small budgets as shown at his time at Burnley but he doesn't understand the ethos of our club. Del-Boy Geary would be better suited coming in if a replacement was ever needed as least he understands the link up between the top to bottom systems. Hecky isn't going anywhere and rightly so. We are about to peak again with the quality youngsters 2003ish we had Jags, Tonge et al 2009ish the 2 Kyle's et al and now, with not being unreasonable we could have half the squad of academy players.

Fuck me, missed that. We were on holiday. How did we go on?😉
Started slowly and deservedly lost the first leg. Made a come back in the 2nd leg but deservedly went out on penalties.

It was in Sky sports so there was really no excuse to miss it. 😉

Must try harder.

So you would rather have del geary beacuse hes funny and has managed the u23's for 6 months and has no managerial experience at all

Over Sean dyche who has took a bottom half championship team to staying in the prem for 5/6 years and playing in European football ?

Since when was the final played over 2 legs?
Kinell, Its all change innit?😉

I would take coberan over hecky also

We were asked this last year and we wanted Slav. Look how that turned out!

If results and performances go badly in the first 3 months of the coming season,i can see Hecky going the same way as Slav.

Will Dyche still be available then ,who knows.

I am being serious yes I would. Dyche is outdated and would need to reinvent himself, the reason why Burnley over achieved for those years was based on hard to beat defence and a bit of old fashioned bullying tactics. They got found out last season and the trap door opened up collapsing investments along the way. I am not saying Del Geary is the next Jose Mourinho, but if you look at Mourinho's playing career it was unrecognised when he retired in 1987. He did his badges got lucky as an assistant coach and translator and on the back of the experience got the job at Benfica then a few years later where he made name on the scene at Porto. Although you say no managerial experiencing he is coaching and developing both himself and others in a set system and expressing ideas on a daily basis. Although Dyche is English you may as well get Big Sam in because he "has experience"

Those aren't facts. That's your opinion, which is totally bollocks.

These are facts...

First 23 League games:
W8 L9 D5 = 29 points

Last 23 League games:
W13 L4 D7 = 46 points

Record under Slav:
W6 L8 D5 = 23 points

Record under Hecky:
W15 L5 D7 = 52 points

Last 3 months where we were "awful":
W9 L4 D6 = 33 points

3 good performances in 20 games
Last 20 league games we beat the following teams:

Birmingham 2-1
West Brom 2-0*
Swansea 4-0*
Blackburn 1-0
Middlesbrough 4-1*
Barnsley 2-0
QPR 1-0
Cardiff 1-0
QPR 3-1*
Fulham 4-0*

The ones I've starred were all VERY good performances. Of the others, we got the job done. The Blackburn game being the only "poor" performance in that list for me.

The season is close to starting, blades fans feeling optimistic but not over the top, most agree its been a good window so far, and then BOOM FallowfieldBlade reawakens to ruin it, I'd like to let him off because of the intense heat when he decided to write his feelings but it's the return of the happy go lucky, cheerful Fallowfield, ah well it couldn't last.

Fallowfield would be perfect for talk sport as the bad cop talking crap while the other presenter good cop puts him right

QPR - we only bothered to turn up after we were getting beat in the second half when we had to turn up , same as the 2nd leg in the play offs. Why cant we do that before we go behind ? Is it the manager ? Much like the first leg vs forest

West Brom - We were getting dominated before was it Livermore handed us the game on a plate by even though we were 1-0 up

Fulham - Great performance but they were on the beach lets be real

Boro & Swansea we were great - But 2 good performances in the last 15/20 games shows a pattern that the manager isn't good enough IMO

Hecky is an ok manager but is he as good as any of the managers in the top half of the champ last year ? No

Would any team in the champ or even league one have interviewed him before he got the job gifted to him by the prince ? Maybe a few in league one

Ah, but her tea making wasn’t great last season. When she didn’t have Yorkshire Tea bags and fresh milk to get her out of jail, some of the cuppa performances were atrocious.

FallowfieldBlade and he pre-season flounce apart the only way Hecky gets sacked is if HRH sells the club and the new owner wants to make a change.....otherwise it was crystal clear, there's a 5 year plan and Hecky has a contract to match it.....he stays, end of....

If we are bottom half after 15/20 games in dont think that will be the case
