From the Star, when talking about new signing, Miller:

Wilson, a long-standing admirer of Miller, added: “You’ve got to be careful in your choices; we’re not in a position to bring a 35-year-old striker in with no return.
“Everyone likes a team of energetic players; we didn’t have pace in key areas last season, and now we have that from the likes of Shaun and John [Cofie].”

Interesting insight into BT... perhaps

I bet that was music to Cresswell's ears :D

I wonder if it's also aimed at Marcus Bent. Or a player we've been in touch with perhaps.

I was thinking it was more likely that perhaps there was pressure on DW to extend BT's stay...

In the NW documentary from when he was at the lane it showed a clip of a board meeting where NW was pressed by a board member about getting in a bums on seats player like Duncan Ferguson to boost crowds, NW’s response was quite short and sharp in response, along the lines of, last time I looked I picked the team, don't I Mr Chairman (McCabe)

It might be a dig at the board... Again this is all speculation on my part
