Ched Evans and Regan Slater have both left Bramall Lane on a temporary basis.

Evans has joined Fleetwood Town on a season-long loan, whilst Slater will continue his development with Carlisle United.

Think this benefits both the players and United for various reasons. It’s now or never for Ched and Regan just needs games and experience under his belt. One should come back a better player for it. The other is anyone’s guess

If it's a years loan, i reckon that means Tufty has moved on with thinking he'll be good enough for us.

Didn't he say with Alan biggs that it was for six months and we will reassess at the end on what is best for all parties then?

I think we know who’s signing Evans’ was..

If McCabe wins Evans will be back.

If the Prince wins then that’s the last we will have seen of him.

Tufty said in a recent interview he needs 20+ games to get back into shape but he isn't going to get that here - which is a fair comment.

Personally I can't see him ever playing for us again but GLTTL...

Hope Slater learns and develops, and comes back to us a better player.

Evans I couldn't give less of a fuck about if I tried. Cost us dear through his inability to keep it in his pants, and has been getting a wage most of us would dream about for the last year, in return for fuck all actual return in the club's favour.

If we get a few strikers in, then unless they all get injured or are appalling, he ain't coming back

It’s never worked out for ched since he came back to the lane for various reasons. I doubt we’ll ever see him back at the Lane so GLTTL anyway.
A good choice for slater as it continues his development with game time which he wouldn’t get at bdtbl. Here’s hoping that we see him back and that he could be an asset for us. UTB

Reason #1: He's lost it
Reason #2: He's now a sunday league player at best
Reason #3: A siginficant portion of our fanbase (rightfully) think he's a twat of the highest order.

Fuck him.

Really hope that Ched can use this opportunity to secure himself 3-4 years as an average to good League 1 striker, which is the best he can possibly hope for. GLTTL.
