Dundee United are set to keep Sheffield United striker Jordan Robertson on loan all season. (Daily Record)

Well he would really strugle to get in our side, with the strikers we have

He did well at Northampton last year, how is he doing at Dundee?

He's getting on well from what i've seen and heard, he could be a decent asset to us in the future. It's definately for the best he stays there it'l give him chance to improve certain aspects of his game and lets face it he ain't getting in our side at the moment

He looks a good player, and has done well for himself.

I tell you, he's improved so much since we left school 3 years ago. I played against him loads of times and he was never that good, it amazes me how well he's doing!

Celtic after him?..................

From the Star..........

GLASGOW Celtic could soon join the list of potential suitors courting Jordan Robertson's signature as interest in the Sheffield United striker continues to grow north of the border.

Robertson has scored four goals in seven starts since joining Dundee United on loan and enjoys another opportunity to showpiece his talents when Glasgow Rangers visit Tannadice tomorrow.

Robertson moved to the Scottish Premier League club last summer when boss Bryan Robson admitted that he was unlikely to be considered for first-team selection at Bramall Lane.

Robson will review that decision in January but Robert-son's exploits for Craig Levein's side means Robson is already bracing himself to receive several hostile bids when the transfer window re-opens in the New Year.

Norwich City were leading the queue of clubs preparing offers until Peter Grant left his post at Carrow Road.

But should Celtic enter the market - the Glasgow giants are understood to be monitoring Robertson's progress.

Gordon Strachan, Robson's counterpart at Parkhead, was impressed with Robertson's performance during Sept-ember's meeting between the two teams and may decide to test United's resolve.

With James Beattie, Jon Stead, Danny Webber, Billy Sharp and Rob Hulse all likely to be vying for starting roles when Robertson's future is scheduled to be reassessed, the most probable scenario is that he is allowed to remain in Dundee until the end of the season.

Good interview with him too............
