Immense yet again today. Just watching the game back again now. Seemed to be everywhere and involved in everything good that we did.
His passing and vision is even better than it was in the league below. He looks fitter, stronger and at times is unplayable.
I really hope he can keep going well into his 30s because if so he still has 4 or 5 seasons to look forward to in the top end of the Championship, if not PL. Wasted in league 1(apart from his season with us down there of course), top top player.

Good player if course but he certainly wasn't ' immense' today. Final ball was very poor at times

Had a great game and was all over the pitch defending/probing/trying to find a way through...they sat behind the play and defended well....

Had a good game today and has been great most of the season. He was shocking vs Fulham though.

Poor against Fulham and had a quiet start today. Genius that I am, after 15 minutes I was about to announce that he needed a rest, and then he played his way back into the game and was assured for the rest of the match.

He was involved in everything but unfortunately, bar the pass to Fleck that created the chance for Leon in the 1st half, nothing came of any of it. He’s out of sorts at the moment and seems to have lost the confidence to take defenders on like he was until recently. But he’ll come good again.

Agree totally - Duffy is fantastic a joy to watch. Simply the best player to watch at the Lane for years and years. I absolutely love him.

Went to Forest away and Duffy put on the best performance I can remember since Currie.

This team is everything I have craved for for years and years, Moan at this team and you have to be plain Stupid. As for Brian on Radio Sheffield what an utter tool, craving attention by spouting controversial tripe, idiot.

That off-the-ball run he made just near the end, just after he'd played a peach of a ball through (to Leon, I think?) - ran full pelt, for about three-quarters length of the pitch on a decoy run to the far post. Then just jogged over to the other side to take a corner, barely puffing.

His fitness levels are amazing, quite apart from everything else.

love the guy , just a real shame Coutts isn't at the side of him and Fleck , if we had the 3 together we would have walked this division , will always love Duff for his goal at the sty , no matter what he does I will always remember that goal :-)

I'd bin Sharp and play Brooks & Duffy just behind Clarke, worked well tonight

I am a Duffy fan, fantastic player.

But personally I thought he had a bad game tonight.

I don’t think he was immense, but I also don’t think he was poor. Brum did a job on him and he seemed to be closed down by 2/3 men as soon as he got the ball.

Another player who's fitter than he's ever been.

He played well tonight and all that was missing was an assist - he got in enough good positions to provide one, mainly on the left side.

I have to disagree with you here. I don’t think it did and Clarke was the guy pulling wide in the last 15 minutes and Duffy or brooks were nowhere near the box and it was like watching the Norwich game all over again. If brooks is going to be play he needs to be up top and stretching the back line. I really don’t like him deeper. That would then give Duffy more options going forward

We should sell him in January. All that running and passing will be taking it's toll on his knees and if we cash in now imagine what sort of replacement we could buy

Love Duffy. Always available. Never hides. Defensively, Brooks could learn a lot from him.

^^ this , Duffy is everywhere and such a lovely player to watch and his work rate exceptional

It annoyed me when you have players like Leon and Duffy amongst others working there arses off for 90+ mins whilst imo brooks and Caruthers seemed a bit lackluster and lacking effort ( defensively mainly) when they come on for 20 mins

The younger lads could certainly learn allot from them

I can see why some people thought he was immense and some people thought he was poor yesterday. His general play and work rate were excellent, but he lacked that cutting edge and seemed to always want to beat one extra man than was necessary and ended up crowded out by the time he finally put the ball into the middle. In the first half there was a massive gap to shoot at, instead he took it around an extra player, narrowed the angle and had to shoot at a much smaller target. Second half there was much less space to work with, but all of the best things he did were when he played balls early. Slowing it down and trying to break through a solid block of blue was never going to come off for him, although he put in a very good shift defensively.

He was far from the only one that applied to though, nobody except Lundstram was prepared to have a first-time shot, and the whole team kept slowing the pace down to a crawl with no end product like Arsenal often do. Stevens kept trying to run through players rather than getting the ball in early and the strikers were too static and easy to defend against, even the goal came from Clarke being crowded out, but it meant he ended up in an unusual position on the edge of the box facing goal which gave him space to get a shot in.
