On a broader point re Duffy, I don't often question Wilder's judgement but I must admit taking Duffy off when he did yesterday had me scratching my head. He was still one of the few players actually trying to change the game.
I actually feel that when Duffs is pulled off around the 60 minute mark it gives fuel to the idea that he has run out of steam. I don't know why it seems to be CW/AK's trigger point when invariably there are other players that deserve the hook far more than Duffs. In my opinion it does him a disservice, most of our good stuff goes through him & I see no reason to pick on his age or fitness levels most matches, maybe because he knows he is going off he is required to put everything in to minutes 45 to 65, therefore giving a false impression he is knackered beyond recovery?

His cross for McG yesterday was inch perfect. McG made a total hash of what should have been a simple header, but the cross in was world class.
100% this. And I’m convinced it frustrates Duff to high heaven.I actually feel that when Duffs is pulled off around the 60 minute mark it gives fuel to the idea that he has run out of steam. Great minds ??Was the tweet aimed at Wilder/Knill or at the fans who criticised him in the social media?
He gets pulled off at roughly the same time in most games. Yesterday, he looked absolutely knackered when he was taken off. Some games he looks like he can clearly carry on. I suspect CW/AK do so to preserve him so he can start every game. This is possibly down to the fact we've had no Duffy2 to come off the bench and do his job. He certainly can't play 100% for 90 minutes of every game the way the team plays. None of the midfielders or attackers can.

IMHO, this is perhaps a very carefully directed “tweet” at the fans, the direction of which is actually intended elsewhere !!
