Overheard a conversation this afternoon, wondering if anyone else has heard similar.

After Leicester game Chris Wilder wasn't in the dressing room at all, but Alan Knill and some other backroom staff was, a few words were exchanged between players, which ended up with McBurnie and Fleck squaring up to each other, Berge split them both up before Baldock got involved and sided with McBurnie and Berge and 4-5 other players walked out of the dressing room pissed off then there was another scuffle between McBurnie and Fleck again. Wilder never addressed it but had the players in training today even though it was a scheduled day off.

Would be pretty surprising if it was true, but thought I'd pass it on.

They are usually in first thing for training after a loss?

Wilder has said he lets the players sort it out themselves in the dressing room so there might be some truth in that.

I said a couple of weeks a ago that if the losses continued then Wilder would lose the dressing room and it has position would become untenable.
I honestly can't see him last into the New Year if things don't change.

If the heart goes and we start losing convincingly then there will be no other option. To be honest, I thought we were lucky to even still be in the game against Leicester going into the last 10 minutes. They should have been at least 2 up at half time they were that much better than us.

I do remember an incident in the 2nd half where McBurnie wanted a cross, Fleck & Osborn completely butchered the opportunity & McBurnie looked really unhappy about it. Maybe a few words were exchanged on the pitch & it spilled over.

To be fair, if I had seen Fleck after that game I would probably have squared up to him. An absolutely inexcusable fuck up, under the circumstances, which gifted the killer blow to the worst person possible.

Daft as it sounds, I hope this rumour is true anyway, because it could be something of a turning point.

And yes, I am clutching at straws.....

If McBurnie had the cheek to say anything about butchering opportunities, I'd have squared up to him an all!

I hope it’s true. Better that than shrugging their shoulders and going home. Baldock looked close to tears at the final whistle, a lot of them looked absolutely gutted. It happens at any club that’s struggling and that has players who actually care.

OP seems legit

I’d have been absolutely screaming at Osborn and Fleck for that if I was a striker, so I’ll be quite happy if McBurnie gave them a round of f*cks for it.

Perfect opportunity for Osborn to fizz it across the box, where we had men in good positions, but for no reason at all he cuts back to Fleck. Before they have time to re-adjust their run, Fleck floats one to the keeper.

Just highlights our complete lack of confidence, quality, conviction and decision making.

Not doubting that the OP was told this but it seems we either have people hearing Wilder is off to manage England/ Man U/ AC Milan or Wilder has till the New Year.

You have a history of sharing rumours that prove to be unsubstantiated, which I have called out before. But I’ll give you a fair chance - who was having this conversation that you ‘overheard’ and why did you choose to believe it?

Very intrigued where you heard this from?

Well, first things first. I don't know the two absolute randomers that were talking about it whilst queuing up outside ASDA (I was behind them) and I never said I believed it, just passing it on to see if anyone else has heard similar.

They both were talking about other things besides that, it just came into the conversation as it was all Blades related. Seems a bit shit of a rumour to start up really, as it doesn't have any impact on anyone outside the club.
