After reading through the forum prior to falling asleep, I dreamt last night that we ll beat Brighton 5-0....! This got me thinking. I don't think that in 40 odd years of watching us I've ever dreamt a correct scoreline (although this one would do nicely!) So much so, the 'dream match' kept flashing back in to my memory at work throughout the day!

Have any of you genuinely dreamed about a game that then came true, i.e. correct score, scorer, outcomes, last minute winners, etc?

As teenagers my pig best mate slept over, when he woke up he said he'd had a vivid dream that we were going to lose to Burnley 4-2. It was a Sunday and live on TV, away. We lost 4-2. Think Jamie Hoyland scored.
Truly bizarre, we still talk about it occasionally

I once had a dream that we was 1-1 in the FA cup final v Piggy bastards and we got a penalty. Somehow I managed to get on the pitch and smashed it in. I then went back to Kylie Minogue's house and had some rumpy pumpy. Next thing fucking alarm clock went off and I had to settle for Dani.

Shit happens .

I dreamt we’d draw 0-0 with the piggies for the third time in a row....then again I may just have dozed off in the match at the time. It was hard to tell.

5-3 v Hull City in the cup semi final. I woke up and said to my missus, just had a horrible dream, I was late getting to the game and it was 5-1 and we scored 2 more.

So the order was wrong but the score was right. Can't believe I didn't put a bet on! What odds would you have got for that?

Was there, the night out after in Accrington was world class.

Take it Dani drives a bus?

I remember lots of 'no drinking in the streets' signs when I went to Burnley last. I was steaming so it mattered not.

Fact check, just realised it was that game where our new keeper let 2 absolute fucking howlers in, it was like Beadles About, so in hindsight I hadn't drunk anywhere near enough. Jesus wept I've seen some shit away from home.

Yes. I once dreamt about all the matches in the football league. I woke up, filled in the pools coupon, and now I'm a multi-millionaire as a result! 👍

On a slightly more serious note, no. I have dreams and sometimes they are about football, but most of them make no sense at all. (A bit like my posts on here!).

What amazes me about dreams, is that the most bizarre things happen and yet I don't question that at all whilst I'm dreaming it. So for example, I dreamt all my fillings were coming out of my teeth, but it wasn't just bits of metal that were coming out, it was knives and forks. The dentist had filled my teeth with knives and forks! But in the dream, that was "normal". Another dream was where I was chasing someone and they ran up our gennel (which comes to a dead end). When I got to the top of our gennel they had disappeared but there was a plastic carrier bag on the ground and they were hiding in there. A fully grown human being, hiding in a plastic carrier bag. Again, I never questioned it, it was "normal". 🤪

I have dreamt about various games and scorelines but I don't think any of them have come true and it's probably down to going to bed with football on my mind. Much as I like football, I'd rather dream about other things, which is why I always have a copy of "Health & Efficiency" on my bedside table.

I’ve had several dreams.....we won League 1 with 100 pts, then within 2 season we got auto promotion to Premier League and then (probably the most stupid) we were chasing a champions league place in our first season......dreams eh, fucking stupid sometimes😉

Nome of my dreams have ever come true but my Blades dreams are never straight forward, the rules are all different and usually revolve around anxiety.

An example might be
We beat Brighton eventhough we had a player sent off and looking good for the Champions League.
Then there are big headlines in the tabloids that because we had a player sent off in 3 consecutive PL matches (in my dream we had a player sent off away at Palace and home to Bournmouth too) then we face immediate relegation.

I’m having flashbacks of the Tevez affair and thinking it’s a made up rule and there’s nothing to worry about.
But apparently a new rule about FairPlay was voted in and 3 successive red cards could mean instant relegation at the discretion of the FA.

The FA need to vote on it and Trevor Brooking has been replaced by Neil Warnock.
We all assume we’ll be fine with Warnock having the power but he‘s stabbing us in the back, he‘s on the tv saying how Sheff Utd deserve to be relegated because we are over physical every match. I’m refusing to believe this because it’s typical we‘re about to qualify for the Champions League and the football Gods find a way to punish us. It crosses my mind that I might be dreaming this disaster but a trusted friend insists it’s not a dream as we are facing relegation based on a new rule.

Then I wake up with a big sigh of relief that it was only a dream.

Dream about Charlize Theron and Scarlett Johansen on a regular basis. Only to be woken by the snoring cow next to me😴😴😨

Yes I saw those and was quite disappointed I couldn’t have a pint in the street. So I had a shit instead.

Only that we'd beat Derby on Boxing Day last season. Had the dream at the start of the season before a ball was kicked.

The more interesting part of the dream was that I got called away for an emergency at work at half time when it was 0-0. Then I arrived at work and checked my phone to see we'd finished up winning the game 6-0!! Never been so angry before, either in real life or in a dream!

I'm pretty sure the last 3 years have been a dream and I'll wake up with Dean Hammond as player manager, akinfenwa as our marquee signing and pigs top of the premier League

As you should.
I did actually drop the kids off after the arsenal semi final defeat old Trafford. The issue was I was in the middle of division street at the time. In my defence, I was quite, quite drunk.
