Twas a game of doubles (see what I did there?) For the second time in a week the Blades scored three and conceded twice (in what felt like two minute spells) to record their second win in two games.
McGoldrick, who scored two goals, got his second winner of the week both of which came from two yards in the last few minutes using his two feet between them to set the Blades into raptures. This came at the end of two games which looked as though at least two points had been thrown away and therefore had to be won twice. Two penalties were awarded, both of which were strange fouls, and if both had been scored Billy Sharp would have had two goals too.
Beyond this the Blades fans were kept twice as long as was strictly necessary near a zone 2 station after the game which presented the opportunity to give twice as much abuse to the double wankers on the platform above who have been giving us shit for twice as many years as I care to remember from the two stands on the left and right using both of their brain cells. And London Blades visited two breweries either side of the game, in which both piss ups were well organised (?) with the exception of me advising to get off the train early on the way there which meant two of us visited two Peckham train stations and two trains from London Bridge were required.
The beer was stronger than normal pub fare which meant I experienced double vision on the way home, arriving two hours later than promised and a bollocking which was twice as big as normal.
