Want to stress how concerned I am about defending from the front and hopefully not allowing burnley to shoot. Patterson for burnley has the ability and confidence as we know from the reading game to shoot from way out and hit the target.
I just don't want another tudgay incident (pigs at home) that if you don't put the ball in row z' eventually shots are gonna go flying in.
Patterson for me is their biggest threat and needs a good dose of chris morgan. Just hope we don't let burnley run and run before somebody tackles either too late and they shoot, or too late and give away a penalty.
I was on the upper tier of Bramall lane against PNE and Brian Howard didn't half save us with a goal line clearance, PNE were litterally inches from scoring.

check the stats on his goals this season, i think youll find that most are scored in the 6-18yd box. last nights was a fluke

I think their biggest threat is Chris Eagles (who i wish we could sign) he just kept running at Naysmith and for all his trying just isn't as quick, hopefully Kyle Walker will be more on his pace and take him outa the game

Eagles was on the left wing, and as Naysmith is out Naughton has been at left back. Poncey twat with Alice band vs. Racing Snake Tackle Machine? No contest, he'll be in Naughton's back pocket.

I have to agree, Eagles gave Naysmith a torrid time but up i dare say a younger and pacier full-back will cope much better against him.

Luckily for us we have two of the best in the league.

Don't know who it was that scored burney's 2nd goal against reading but it was a classic opportunists goal, this is what worries me, give em' half a sniff and these lancashire bleeders will score.we can't give them an inch. We have to defend from the 1st minute. Remember ( waddle ) I'd only just sat down and the pigs had scored.
