Really don't understand how this would help apart from saying we are different. If skin colour is irrelevant then why start this group and heap focus on it? Things have really improved over the past few years and if it wasn't for the 2 high profile cases recently then they would have continued to improve. The only one I hear speaking sense on this issue is John Barnes, sorry but Rio is jumping on a bandwagon through his Twitter account, he suddenly has an opinion about everything

Is not the setting up of this group racist in itself???????? What would be said if it were a white players group? I bet the PC press and the bleeding heart Liberals would be whipping themselves up into a right lather, as they have done over the Terry affair. I know this, if it goes much further down this route, neither me or my family will be going to watch football anymore. The Ferdinands and Jason Roberts can shove it where the sun dont shine!

I have been involved in junior football for about 12 years I cannot remember any incident of racism being reported at any league meeting.
That's around 600 teams playing every week through the season for 12 years and no incidents.
With what is going off at the moment, I feel that the 'black' players who I just used to see as players are creating the division that is happening at the moment.

Think it's a case of a few over privileged whiny superstars causing all the problems. Not just racism, but it's amazing what muppets like Terry, Gerrard, Cole etc can cause by their prima donna shenanigans.

It's got silly now, cos everybody is looking for racism that doesn't actually exist. Just like when some loony extremist tries to blow people up. Or a child gets murdered. Or the jimmy savile thing. Everybody looks for sinister stuff that doesn't exist. Suddenly all muslims are terrorists. All footballers/white people are racist. All BBC celebrities are pedophiles. All strangers want to abduct and murder your children. The media-rich world we live in hypes everything to insane proportions. Mountain out of a frickin molehill, the whole thing.

Now the stuff that went on in Serbia, different gravy that. Extremely disturbing stuff.
