Far preferable to a warm flat pint of "Tosspots Handbag" or whatever stupidly named concoction is flavour of the month amongst the CAMRA bretheren :)
Now now Tyler, we don`t all like Eurofizz. I like proper beer, although I can do without the beardy, sandals, up their own backsides CAMRA lot.

Lager was always a girls drink, ale a mans drink, moonshine mmmm

you're heading the right way...but Moonshine? Oh dear! That's a beginner's real ale sonny. You need to try something a bit more esoteric than that if you want to be a real ale twat like me.

I like pale hoppy or zesty type beer, over the years my likes have changed, wonder where it will end? My local has 5/6 real ales on when moonshine first came it was a guest, since then it has become the most popular ale in the pub, mainly beause of me!

All the above beverages are welcome, as long it annoys the cask-conditioned, IPA, "ooh it has a great hoppy finish" wankers.

Stout pisses on both to be honest.
I always preferred pale ales until the last 3 or 4 years when I turned to the dark side..

Magnet is? Might have to venture up there at some point. Used to love it but not found a pint in years.

Magnet on at The Sportsman at Lodge Moor, nice thirst quencher for a sunny afternoon.

I think the Fox and Duck at Broomhill sell Magnet as well, or at least they did.

I grew up drinking Magnet at the John O'Gaunt, cracking pint back then.

Used to be my local the Sportsman! Interesting location! The Sportsman is right next to the former prison of war camp! Karl Donitz was stationed there in the first world war too, for those that are interested. That the prisoner of war camp not the Sportsman!

Great to hear of Magnet still being served too!

I used to regularly drink it in the dog and partridge on Trippet lane but not seen it anywhere since

Wait, I thought it was cool to drink real ale?

Isn't it Gin nowadays? When I was back in December all the pubs I went in had a massive Gin display behind the bar. It was cider with ice before ale. The cunts also love a glass of fizzy wine as it shows how loaded they are.

Must admit I can't drink lager nowadays and for that reason normally drink IPA, although I was drinking IPA before it was cool .

Can't whack real ales, decent whisky, nice bottled continental lagers, fruit based ciders, decent vodka or G&T on a nice summers day.

Having had a quarter of a century at it I've given them all a fair crack of the whip.

But real ales are now my turn to pint.

Drink real ales (mainly IPA or Blondes) purely cos I'm an old fart and it's not as gassy as modern beers or lagers so can consume more quantity easier. Do like the wheat beers but was brought up on Waaaards, Mansfield and Marksman Lager. Now like a Neepsend Blonde or, occasionally, an Erdinger as I also get pissed a lot easier these days. Have to limit myself before a game to three or four as otherwise I will be having a piss when United score! Don't like the snobby twats about ale but, I do like real ale!

This is nice in small doses, they have it at Costco.

In large doses it would cause delirium, hallucinations and confused and disturbed thoughts
