I used to be quite partial to Woodbines also. Can't see United promoting those mind.
I'm sure you can probably 'vape' Woodbines. So yes we could have them.

and Pyros.
Don't forget.....
NO PYRO NO PARTY !!!
No, they just think that they're of the elite because they don't drink anything that's not room temperature and doesn't have the consistency of soup.
Far more snobby and deluded than wine buffs.
Money shall not be stored in barrells either!
Not bad for bitter. Still served in Chapeltown club.
Ah, I'll stick to mi lager.
At 'spoons they have signs saying that you can sample the ale, has anyone ever actually done it? Never seen anyone at the bar supping shot glasses of beer, or whatever they put it in.
All the above beverages are welcome, as long it annoys the cask-conditioned, IPA, "ooh it has a great hoppy finish" wankers
Paulaner and Dortmunder are the finest lagers in all humanity.
May as well just serve shots of turps as people are only drinking it to get pissed, not enjoy it.
Tap in.![]()
You're full of the joys of summer today, aren't you?
'Finest lagers' is up there at the top of the oxymoron list.
I like Erdinger but the glass they serve it in is inappropriately long and makes me feel insecure.
Don't think I've been to that pub mate... Do they serve food?
Far preferable to a warm flat pint of "Tosspots Handbag" or whatever stupidly named concoction is flavour of the month amongst the CAMRA bretheren
Crab Sticks.
So is it the temperature or the silly names that get your goat? Ale is not normally served 'flat' in these parts if a sprinkler is used, although if you prefer a massive CO2 injection, perhaps you'd be better with Tizer?
The fact that I find it horrible is secondary, as I appreciate that people have different palates. Stout and porter is technically ale after all, and it's glorious stuff.
It's the twattish, up-ones-own-arse culture that surrounds it that I find insufferable.
I'm a big whiskey enthusiast for example. Doesn't mean I consider myself superior to those who drink Bells or Teachers.

I'm informed Skol, Hofmeister and XXXX are signed on also.
I'm a big ale drinker but it is the knitted sandals thing that stopped me ever joining CAMRA. Too many worthy beards, and that's just the women.
Hmmm...
If you are such a 'whisky enthusiast' how come you can't spell it right? I'm thinking you are a Jim Beam and Jack Daniels kind of guy.

Nope, I spell it the Irish way cos I'm biased.
I'll accept a deliberate Oirish spelling if that's what it was. No Americanisms though......
Absolutely love Erdinger.
No insecurities about the glass here.
Got one but it's too tall for any of the cupboards.
