Looking like our front two for next week. Doesn't look too good for Billy with an apparent torn stomach muscle.

So - what do we reckon?
It's potentially just as big a fairytale, Clarke to score infront of our end and run off to their kop Adebayor style. With his first goal of the season.

In all reality the most important thing is we have Donaldson fit. He gives us an extra edge upfront and that pace we don't have elsewhere. They'll be frightened to death of him especially with his record.

I for one am not worrying about missing Billy, I'm just absolutely gutted for him. I hope he can get fit and play a part but I think we've got enough in these two to put them horrible bastards to the sword.

Can we still sign someone on a free before the next game? Scouts need to get looking for a couple of strikers without a club. (That'll be easy then)

Will be gutted for Billy if that's true.
Hope it doesn't knock his duck off.
They don't worry me one bit.
Our midfield should run the show.

I agree that Donaldson playing is the most important thing, and those two up front will guarantee a hard game for their defence and give us useful extra height at set pieces.

As a partnership, if Donaldson and Sharp is ideal, which I think it is, then Donaldson and Clarke should be as well. Because Sharp and Clarke are similar in that they're both penalty box poachers who benefit from playing alongside pace.

I also fancy both of them individually to score in this game so if they both play I'll be quite confident.

Really hope they are both back.

Even one of them with Brooks off him would be helpful. It's not helping Evans at all that he's having to play when he needs an operation - but needs must atm.

To me - yesterday showed exactly what sharp brings to the side. He's not always as involved in the build up but if he's on the field yesterday he gets on he end of something and gets his goal. Imo we get at least a point if he's fit.

Have I missed it somewhere ,does anyone really know why Clarke was missing yesterday ?
I think we will also use Evans and Brookes in the course of the game too.
