He’s been my man of the match for the last three or four games. Egan that is, not Shield. He’s really grown into that central role and will only get better.

Not one of our players deserved anything more than a 7 today IMO.

But to have an off day like that and get 3 points is very important and a statement of intent.

Because if he does someone needs to book him an appointment at specsavers.

John Egan 6
His head still bandaged after sustaining a nasty cut against Millwall last weekend, the latest in a long catalogue of lumps, bumps and lacerations, the centre-half can always be relied upon to go in where it hurts.

I remember being sat behind him at a pre-season game and he spent the whole 2nd half on his laptop and never looked up to watch the game yet stil had a full match report the following day!

I sat directly in front of him at Wembley (Hull) and I kept glancing his way to see if he was making notes or whatever. I never saw him look towards the pitch once.
Must watch it back on a device then write up some bollox.

He was a 7 out of 10 for me. Couple of good saves, distribution hit and miss but was difficult for him with them restricting us playing it out from the back.

Not meant as a criticism, quite the opposite in fact.

You should be on the view from Hull post. Ludricous.

Care to offer your opinion then? Or just going to tell me I’m wrong?

Distribution Got the ball out quickly at every opportunity, one very clever double handed throw over the jumping strikers head was sublime, he can kick out with both feet, not his fault strikers lose headers. When you talk about distribution it's like he kicks it straight out like Blackman did quite often.

Couple of good saves Sorry but Moore would have been beaten by 2 of those, he's a fucking cat this kid and does this every week, they were not decent saves, they were game winning saves.

Toss up between Egan and Hendo for motm. Egan looks a snip as I knew he would be. Hendo is the best shot stopper outside the PL.I was suprised and delighted when we signed both.

Got to love the star. Just read an article that talks about United's dubious penalty and has Adkins bemoaning the stonewaller they didn't get.

#whatarag!

So instead of watching the football you spent the whole second half watching a man on a laptop? Are you James’ stalker? :)
