Hope for a winnable tie in quarter finel vs bournouth, stoke or brighton at home
or do we want a plumb, high earning away tie with little chance of a win but a large pay packet liverpool, chelski, man city.
what do we want?
my choice is a home tie thats winnable.

I want Liverpool away as I live there right now. Might be hard to get tickets though. Does having a season ticket matter for away cup games?
If not that then someone we can beat. I want us to get as far as we can and win if at all possible.

We will get who we get. I think we will get Bournemouth away, seems to be the way the draw has been going for us.

Would take anyone but Chelsea at home.

Liverpool at home please
They are finding it difficult to score and Bellendtelly will get the piss ripped out of him at the Lane
Liverpool don't have a good record at Bramall Lane

Winnable and money spinner.
Everyone's a winner (except Liverpool ;))

Chelsea away is the only game where we would go out but any other draw gives a bit of a chance

Money earned from this cup run cant be spent till next season anyway I dont think, might be wrong.

Like someone else said, anyone at the Lane, just give us a home draw!

Anybody at home for me. We'll get over 20k whoever we play. If it's a big team, we'll fill it.

Don't want an away tie now. None seem to be winnable away from home

Hard to call. So far, in four CC games, we've only totalled 48,602 in attendance (and nearly 30k of that was at West Ham) so I'd go for the biggest draw possible at the Lane. Get some money in and a chance of winning (esp. as it's decided 'on the night' - big plus for us little 'uns).

I think it will be somebody like Bournemouth away, we always seem to get disappointing draws. I would love to see Liverpool/ Chelsea or City at home I think all three would bring a strong squad and respect the fact we can beat anybody on our day.

Looking at the remaining teams its going to be very difficult. I think we'd be best off with the winner of the Spurs/Brighton tie.

Brighton aren't pulling any trees up and Spurs strike me as a team that are ready to implode.

The rest, well, are all mountains to climb.

I'm with Revolution on this, worse team at home is a no brainer. Then we'd be bound to draw a good team in the semi's. That means a full BL and (probably) a sold out large ground that is shown on TV. Large amounts of gate receipts and some tv for boot. Fuck getting smashed away by Liverpool, Citeh or Chelski. Not only would it affect confidence, but it would be horrible losing to any of them wankers. Bugger any glory ties ... let's get into the semi's!

Bring on Bournemouth at home.

Home tie live on sky! Get the lane rocking.

My least choice would be the so called "Winnable Home Tie".

A big team at home to fill Bramall Lane, and bring some cash into the club. Whether it's available to spend this season or next, or even not at all doesn't matter.

It's more about getting the "stay away" fans energised!

Liverpool at home.

Would also see Baxter, Wallace, McEveley and Higdon raise their games - I would've thought. Not that footballers should need any extra incentives.

Dont want to get hammered away. That 7-0 destruction of Wednesday seems to have really knocked th momentum out of their decent start. Can imagine that doing the same to us.
