We don't have enough,from being "oversubscribed with forwards",if Brewster is long term we are now short.
McB will probably need the equivalent of a pre season to get up to speed,whatever that is,McG is way out of form,so we have Billy.In fact we are weakened in every department with the need for a CB and MGW missing for weeks,it's bare bones stuff.
Hernandes on loan from Norwich would have been a good loan for us after Wilder let him go,but Birmingham were on the ball and got straight in,had a great game today at Derby and will be up against us on Friday.

I understand the point that Ron_Justice and Champagneblade are making, and it seems ludicrous to be in this position when we all know that our squad had far too many forwards in it, but that injury situation will probably clear up soon enough and I don't see why it's necessary to halt the progression of a promising young player who's not likely to get many minutes if he comes back.

We're not going to be relegated and although we could, feasibly, find ourselves in the play-offs, should we overcome all historical precedent and win that, then I'd probably go into hiding for a year because next season, in that unlikely case, would be brutal.

Maybe we would get murdered most weeks BUT the financial aspect of another season in the Prem COULD help us strengthen more for another assault on promotion where we might have a chance to stay up. Look at Norwich as the model who seem to be a yoyo club (although they MIGHT stay up this season. Are Norwich a wealthier club than us ? or better run?

Why would we want to chase promotion?
We'll get batty raped every single week in the Prem with this squad. It'll be worse than our last pl season.
