No. Coming on for the last half hour to shore things up is his role this season.

Jags undoubtedly had a part to play this season but that back 3 has to stay the same for me. Absolutely immense yesterday solid as a rock .

Of course Liverpool will cause us big problems next week but with those 3 in the middle then Liverpool will know they have had to work hard for anything they take away from BDTBL

Nah patch that. We have nothing to lose let’s go and have a go at them. Games against city and Liverpool are a free hit. I’d rather go down fighting knowing we have at least had a go at them. Not many teams manage to stop Liverpool scoring so we will likely have to score to get something out the game. I agree with the majority view posted so far - leave it as it is. Jags will have a role to play, players get injured and suspended, and he's a great one to fall back on, but try and keep the starting 11 as is, if that's the best starting 11, unless there's a really good reason to change it.

Should be a good test v Liverpool. Should be the ultimate test probably! But as Bladetoolong pointed out, our home record v them isn't too shabby and Liverpool are going to lose a game or two sometime. Lord let it be next saturday!

For me, the only thing I feel we need to change is our discipline. A fair few yellows have been dished out too easily and Liverpool are cleverer than most, if we're careful plus a weak ref the two yellows and a red are on the horizon.

I would drop Robinson for McGoldrick or Freeman and play McBurnie up top on his own.
The gap between the strikers and midfield was far too big yesterday resulting in too many long balls or play breaking down.
Mousset on for the last 30 mins or so to give them something to think about.
I can see Stevens and Baldock tucking in slightly to combat Liverpool’s movement.
