The players

I hear when managers make signings that they do research into the players character. What the fuck happened with ours. None of them seem to have any backbone, no spine. Now I know it's not all their fault but man the fuck up quick now.

The next 5 games decide where we end up, at least show us you care

We now have a talentless team withour any creative instinct. Even though they are not the greatest players in the world, Ward and Yeates are the only players you have left who can make a difference. Not sure how Cresswell gets a game, maybe he does have a clause in his contract that when fit he must play oh and do a funny back flick. There is no maybe about bringing loans in or we are gone with what Micky has left us with

On the second point, this was my concern on selling Britton. While he may not be the answer to all our problems, he was, along with Willo, our only midfield talent. Now you can afford scufflers in the middle as long as you have pace and skill out wide. Again, we have none.

So loanees to stay up: winger, striker, centre back. Or else...

Regarding Ward, if the rumours are true that MA and JW have fell out then imo i think they should both sort themselves out and realise it isn't all about themselves and should put SUFC first and if that means MA swallowing his pride then so be it! I would rather have JW out there than Cresswell at the minute.

As for Yeates he just doesn't look interested at all and i would rather see the back of him. First of all he needs to know how to pass a ball and cross a ball first time when in a decent position to do so and not try to take your man on when there is no need!

Kozluk is allegedly a character, it's just a pity that he is wank. Hopefully he'll get a 15 game ban for his red card yesterday. Him and Craig David should have been made to walk home after the match yesterday.

Ward has chipped in with one goal since Feb 2010 and that was a pen taken from Evans.He does have a talent for picking up cards and injuries both in higher numbers than goals.If he is what we are basing our hopes there is as much hope as Ward beating a keeper one on one none.

Agreed. It's been so frustrating to see the club make so many poor decisions for so long. I think most of it is down to poor managerial judgement, coupled with the pressure to get success quickly, rather than building carefully according to a long term plan.

By the way, I don't think it's a lack of character or mental attributes that's the main problem on the pitch. We're ok in that department, but you need more than that to do well.

Agreed, but it's the base from which you build from. We appear mentally conditioned to defeat, which lowers morale, whic makes us easier to beat, whch lowers confidence...etc
