Next at the lane Port Vale, I really don't think I can be bothered to turn up to see Rob Page's collection of free transfers etc run rings round our expensive and highly paid collection of failures. Looking at the remaining fixtures anyone want to buy a season ticket.
Talking of bad weather not a chance I would turn out in these conditions..............................

I don't think I'll be making the 7 hours round trip to see that. I did it yesterday, with other reasons in mind, but i'm not sure about doing it again to watch this shite...And i do have a season ticket, it's just going to go to waste in my pocket

Yep... every ticket sold or given away is counted.

Ok, cheers for that Linz. I'm guessing real attendance was about 18k then - was in the Westfield corner and south stand looked quite full (but not easy to tell from that angle) and the kop was definitely a lot emptier than against Swindon and Peterborough I'd say.

In the good old days, football clubs apparently understated their crowds for tax reasons. VAT was payable, and no real records existed, so clubs would announce ludicrously low attendances.

This isn't aimed at SUFC at all, but I had a mate who was a big Notts fan in the 70s who reckoned a near sell out of 20k would be announced as under 10k, with the home fans falling about laughing....

And now its us with 20k with the home fans falling about laughing

Regarding the great Sheffield tree debate. SCC need to start removing the 11 lumbering trees that have sprouted up on the Bramall lane pitch. ASAP.

See Liverpools fans action has got results in that manager is openly expressing concern, Klipperty Klopp says club have got to listen to fans.

He must see such a sharp contrast between how fans in England are treated vs German fans.
