I'm English,so why would I want us to get beat...I don't think you'll find to many Scott's wanting England to win.
United over England,but England over any other country,even if they have a Blade in their line up...Good luck to Fleck though.

Since then, despite generally finding the Scots (away from football), a friendly affable bunch, I want them to lose (heavily) against whoever they play, let alone the country of my birth.

If you asked a Rangers fan in Scotland the same question regards a Rangers player playing for England against Scotland then what would you think the answer would be?

That would be my answer too. For me, it’s a no brainer.

I only have an affinity to John Fleck when he’s in a Blades shirt and that’s coming from one of his biggest fans.

Blades first, England second and Scotland nowhere to be seen.

If there happened to be a scenario where England played against a country where all the starting eleven were current Blades, id want England to win - because the opposition isn’t Sheffield United - regardless of where they play their club football. Why on earth would any Englishman want Scotland of all teams to beat them just because one of their squad happens to be a united player?!
