If 'Fred Smith' had played as a kid like Diego did, with everyone who watched him saying he was one of the best young players they'd seen, coaches, players, the Blades Mad grassy knoll youth team followers, he'd still get talked about a lot.
The implication that he's only talked about because he's got an 'exotic' name is really just a way of saying a large majority of our fans are ignorant and thick as shit.

I wouldn't say a "large majority" Bush. I accept he was (at one time), a hot prospect but sadly now, he doesn't appear to be. Maybe it was the injury, maybe something else but somehow, some way, he doesn't appear to be on Adkins radar. I would love to see him make it for the Blades and maybe another loan out would help but really, has any player been talked about so much when he's done so little? Christ, he even features in a song many sing and the only reason for that is his last name rhymes with "follow". It's certainly got now't to do with what he's done on the pitch.
