Ray went to Derby, following Tommy Doherty, who ended up there after his Man U departure.
Storey did bugger all at Derby too and drifted slowly downwards, a shame as he was supremely talented but possesed little in the way of discipline and application.
Wouldn't know for sure if it was that Ray Storey but very much doubt it.

For a start don't under-rate Pinchy, he's quality. Secondly, don't judge me on my problem relationship with Sean Thornton.. We can both contribute more if we steer clear of each other. Judge me on my posts and my opinions. I am ashamed of my reactions to the posts of fellow member Sean Thornton. I'm 100% sure he is a Blade but he has become a bit of a nuisance to me. He disagrees with most of what I say but I'm not sure what he says he believes in.

Don't get on your high horse with me! (insert smiley as suggested below)

1. On what basis do you maintain that I "under-rate" Pinchy? (A bit arrogant and hypocritical sometimes but never to be under-rated).
2. On what basis do you maintain I am judging you? A tad sensitive is that if I may say so.

It was a flippant post (as is usually my style) gently pointing out that the "war" between you two was getting tedious and harked back to what I judged to be the daft excesses of Bladesmad which Pinchy quite rightly had contempt for. OK?

I shall demand from Admin a smiley thing that means "flippant non serious post follows".

Fair comment, not a lot of merit in my post at all in fact!! Agree re Bladesmad type excesses, lower the tone somewhat, that's why I'm sensitive about it I suppose. I'll slap myself with a glove.:)

It's a football fans forum with the media circus that surrounds it , with multi opinions . It's not the Oxford or Cambridge debating society, albeit I get the impression some would love it to be.

It's not about debating a issue , or how long a thread can keep running , it's about throwing your opinion into the hat . Somebody will be having a poll soon on the ethics of posting .

It's not a private Forum were you have to be sponsored and seconded to join.
