I was going to do some more of those videos going into the 2000s, but I packed in listening to new music after OK Computer came out so I haven't got a clue what music would be good to use.

Teletubbies
Susan Boyle
Jedward
Any X factor finalist

Plenty of good stuff there to get you started.

Thank God for the Manics otherwise i'd not be listening to much after the turn of the millennium lol..

There was a couple of Bluetones albums, the Hard Fi 'Stars of CCTV' album is ok, The D4 '6Twenty' proper short n spiky full on garage rock album.

The wave of new bands that came around the early 2000s like White Stripes, Franz Ferdinand, Artic Monkeys, Razorlight, Fratellis, Kaiser Chiefs I just found all a bit meh and samey after a couple of listens, lacking something I couldnt connect with.

Say what you like about the White Stripes, but if they get a cut every time Seven Nation Army gets played at a sports event they must have more money than Soft Mick.

I quite like The Duke Spirit but probably best saving them for the relegation season.

Ok Computer came out in 1997! Don't put No Surprises for your 1999 video because the shit hit will hit the fan big time

I was going to do a video of us beating the Pigs 3-1 in January 2003, but I scrolled through the singles and album charts and just thought "What is all this shit?"

I've heard 1910 was a good year..that Lloyd George/Winston Churchill duo were topping the charts I believe... ;)

Pop wise.... There was a few kinda catchy songs on the Scissor Sisters 'Ta Da' album and dare I say Pink had a few songs I liked that had a deeper harder edge to them, visually she has a lot going on as well.

Good albums from '03...

Elephant - The White Stripes
Room On Fire - The Strokes
Boy In Da Corner - Dizzee Rascal
Absolution - Muse
Meteora - Linkin Park

Like some have already mentioned.

Kaiser chiefs (despite being from weeds), kasabian and let's not forget Oasis was still banging out top quality music into the early 00s

Do they still do those albums called "Now That's What I Call Music [year]" ?

Maybe use some tracks off them.
