Shirts : Red
Shorts : Red
Socks : Red

Is this another new kit, last time i looked the home shirt was fooking white!

Paul Stancliffe's son in goal for Frickley. Used to be on the books of Scarborough and York. When I used to know him he was a cocky twat. Must be over 40 now!

Ash Kigbu and Harry Boyes seems to be coming from Man City's academy. Have they signed for us or are they on trial?

So, 3 triallists: Sheppeard Tadcaster Albion, Boyes Man City, York Fulham but previously Grimsby.

Are any of them worth keeping?
I'm not sure Harry Boyes is a trialist. I've not got the paperwork. But, I saw him play as long ago as 16 Jan in the Youth Cup at St Andrews. And I've seen him for the Academy U18s before. He's been around too long & too often to still be on trial (surely). But, yes, I also think he's the lad from Man City's system.

Saw Harry Boyes v Barnsley at the end of last season and he was the stand-out player on the pitch

I think Boyle’s was with us last season, so I presume he has signed. Don’t know about Kigbu.

I think that Harry Boyes signed up as a 1st year Scholar at end of last season.
Harry Sheppeard was signed also at end of last season as first year pro.
Reece York was also signed, I think, at end of last season but not sure whether he will be a second year scholar or a first year pro.

Right. We're ready. Game 5 of my season. Ground number 209 watching SUFC XIs. Slater, Norrington-Davies, Graham, Gilmour, Semple all MIA. My new One To Watch Harrison Neal steps into the breach. David Parkhouse came on at HT, Utd scored on 46, Parky was gone by 49. I've kept it quiet where I'm going for a drink. Way past Frickley. Two Carrier Bag Firm carloads turn up, independently in the same Ale House. How can that happen? Two triallists. And general High Jinks. All on my BLOG

I'm never sure what the difference is at this age between signed & on trial - but, Harry Boyes has been with us for a while - he played FA Youth Cup for us last season. I've never seen Kigbu before. My initial thoughts about him are on my Blog.

His Aunt who is recovering from cancer treatment is wondering how he got on & all you can do is drink?
Hi silver blade
I'm a little unsure whether you & Reece's Aunt are one & the same. In case we haven't interacted before, the problem is I don't like to criticise SUFC development players. I go to enjoy the game in the moment & have a good day out. I'm not too fussed about any of the "will he make it" malarkey. So, my opinion is the far side of worthless. But, I know you'd like me to be as honest as I feel I can be. I saw Reece last season when he was trialling. Tonight, he was competent & involved. But, there was nothing that particularly caught my eye. It's a great, but tough system up at Shirecliffe. From what I've seen, he needs to make a bit of step up to push himself into the limelight. He basically set up in a very fluid midfield three with Simeon Oure & the much more experienced Jordan Doherty. I'm also a big fan of Harrison Neal (who I think subbed for Reece). Harrison does look standout at times - and the game moved up a gear once he came on. That's the nature of the beast - Reece will soon get to grips with how things work & where he needs to be. But, tonight, he was just in the pack.

I hope that helps.....
