Derby day scorers - forgive all sins.

I have been giving this some thought.

Over the years some pretty bloody awful players have scored goals for us in derby games. D’Jaffo and Akinbiyi to name but two.

The question is does that feat alone forgive them their other sins? Had Hammond scored in a derby game would we have forgiven him???

No. Dean Hammond was irrevocably awful and a detriment to the club. A derby goal would only have prolonged the situation.
