Presently at Center Parcs in Elveden Forest and took my eldest son to a football coaching session this morning, and Dennis was taking it. Never had the pleasure of seeing him play, perhaps for the best given the pelters he's had on here when I searched his name on the site!
He was very quick to tell all the kids about his pro career and was taken aback to have my lad say "me and Dad are Blades!" when he mentioned us.
Had a chat with him after and he was a lovely fella, still looks out for our results and had nothing but good things to say about the club even though he was bombed out when Happy Harry showed up. Said that he saw Keith Edwards a couple of years back at a function and thought he wouldn't bother him as he was sure he'd not remember him, but they bumped into each other on the way and Keith recognised him straight away and had a good chat.
