That is 3 games in a row where the defending has been garbage, concede over 2 goals per game and you don't get promoted.

Against Southend the defending did't get talked about due to the brilliant attacking display, but both goals were shocking. Walsall was equally shocking, keeper and back 3 were abysmal, at this point I would have 100% reinstated Jake Wright as Bash/EEL/JOC keep getting caught woefully out of position. Same again today, routine 3 points ruined by shocking defending.

One game OK, 2 games is a worry, 3 games change it.

Proofs in the pudding. Had a bad feeling when I saw bash on the team sheet. At least we didn't lose.

Wright back in the centre minimum requirement.

Lose to Fleetwood and we may have to revert to a back four, the back three formation has served us well but when it starts to break down it can look very fragile it's why I always worry about a three centre back set up.

Hang on..... The lad that scored both goals was their centre mid. He made two runs from the middle of the park and neither Fleck or Coutts picked him up or stopped the run.
Too easy to slag the defence and keeper off. Midfield is about attack and defence. At the minute their is fuck all defending and all attack....

That said , I would have Wright back in there as soon as possible !!

Wilder needs to be decisive now, like he was earlier in the season. Hauls Wilson off at half-time at Gillingham (even though he'd done nowt wrong), gets EEL on.

Don't really know why he's fucking about with Matty Done at wing-back and not acting to solve the growing problem in the centre, unless he's wary of upsetting team spirit & togetherness.

We do often let runners go from midfield and to be honest Coutts is a major culprit for this.

I think the problem is 3 at the back. Leaves gaps as they all go wandering all over the place. Wright would be an improvement because his positioning is good but we could do with a good centre half who will stay in the centre!

Think you will find it was our defenders who were at fault for both goals and I use the term defenders loosely

I totally agree but we do have a habit of not tracking runs from midfield too
