I thought Williams was just about our best player last night and it would be harsh to drop him but then again should a loanee be picked ahead of Lecs who hasn't really done a lot wrong this season ? Very easy to scapegoat Collins and harp back to last season but a bit harsh also to single him out last night. Would it be wise to give Harry a break who arguably was as much to blame ? Is it worth giving Lecs a game in the middle ? Bring Parrino in ?

Despite our good start, that's 4 sloppy goals the defence have given away which has cost us points so does he bring back the back four that started the season so well or go for a change ?

Glad I'm not a manager but it wouldn't surprise me if he 'rests' Harry with a straight swap for Lecs.

Parrino RB - Lowton midfield for me. Stick with Harry and Collins. Williams our man of match for me last night but agree re loanees - tough one.

Haven't seen enough of Parrino tbh but Lowton has probably been one of the successes of the season at RB so why change something that's working.

McD and Squinny have to start and I'd persist with Flynn which leaves only one spot in centre mid. Can't see it not being Monty or Doyle tbh and as I say, don't see the point in moving Lowton away from where he's doing well.

Entirely agree Mic, been saying for a while now that IMO Lowton is better on the right wing than at right back. For me I'd keep the back 4 the same (minus Lowton for Parrino of course) while playing Quinn on the left, Doyle and McDonald in the middle with Ched/Porter and Tonne up top. Simmo will have to stay in the sticks as we have nothing else.

Has Parrino recovered enough from his broken nose to go back into battle.
It can be tough for him with elbows flying just looking for someone with a nose that hasn't healed properly.

For me Williams should keep his place. Lecs lost it by getting booked too much so until Williams plays badly he should keep the shirt.

I would possibly rest Maguire but that is a dangerous thing to do given we must win this game.

Simmo must be replaced by a loan keeper. But who?

An easy decision to make IMHO. We should go back to the defence that only conceded four goals in seven league matches before last night.
I don't think Williams played badly but he was slow to close down Novak for the second goal and we missed Lecs extra height at set pieces.
Williams is only with us for a month, so there's no point reshuffling the whole (previously successful) defence just to accomodate him.
Stick him on the bench and at least we now have experienced cover if one of the defenders gets injured or suspended (again). He'll get a game in the JPT.
