More likely than Di Matteo, Martin O'Neil and the whole host of people some of our lot appear to think we should be getting in. 24th in League One with a shit stick of a team, we would be lucky to get Clough. I think some of our lot go and take drugs before posting on here with some of the names you hear bandied about.

I'm thinking after the way we have made a complete pigs ear of our last few appointments very few managers without serious baggage would come near us. We are what is classed as a Career Limiting Action.

Your missing one point. We are shitter than he is. We have our fake shake who has splashed the gargantuan amount of a quid so far that we can see, and we are bottom of the league. Clough managed a team in the Championship and did ok with them. I'm not saying he is great, I am saying (and I thought this was clear) we are an utter clusterfuck of a club run by contemptible idiots who couldn't find their arses on a dark night. We have players who clearly were doing their best under Weir but because they are utterly useless in the main aren't good enough to turn it around.Coady is apparently the next Gerrard. Depardieu perhaps but there the connections to greatness end. I see Brandy and Long as about your only hopefuls in a team of utter dross. Even Harry has been sucked into picking up the shitty end of the playing stick these days. Arsenal and Chelsea could get him for a fiver currently. Out Academy such as it now is looks bobah with the young players coming through really not looking anything but at home in League 2 and below.

A new team in January (and thats just about all ten outfield players) and we might, just have a chance if we aren't adrift by then. I don't know what or who you have been watching this past 5 years but we have far worse problems than piss poor managers. And then when we find a half decent one in Wilson we treat him like shit and sack him 5 games from the end of a season.

Sorry everyone but we are still suffering from replacing decent players with shit ones. In fact we have gone one step further and replaced average players with shit ones as well now.

We are indeed "shitter than he is" but I am coming from a slightly different angle (as I've said in another post) in that we have been promised "game changing" investment. Again, as highlighted in that post, this is the opportunity to prove this to us. If the "game changing" investment is available, the first step is appointing a manager who, on the face of it, is way beyond our means and for me, there is only one name that leaps out, Roberto Di Matteo. That may seem foolish but he is out of work and if the money is right, he will come. Over to you Prince Abdullah.

If the investment is not "game changing", we may as well get our Neil back!

after seeing how Weir had totally destroyed the heart and belief of our players Id have taken Howard Wilkinson just to get rid, first half today was hopefully the last time we will see the total loss of belief our squad had that it could muster up an effort to win, not saying we will run away with it , but saw the green shoots of recovery , in some players second half, I actually saw us attacking in waves, which to me was like seeing someone waken up from a coma
