Actually he was very good , stayed long after he was contracted to ,told good stories about Atkinson ,Clough and many others.

I concur - there was an ITV documentary that year called I dreamed I won the FA Cup and featured a fair bit of the quarter-final shoot out with Cov and the semi with the Mags. The teamtalk was pretty much exactly that - 'you are ninety minutes from fuckin immortality!'
