Brooks on loan would be great IMO. 7 goal contributions in 17 games (limited mins) for Southampton last season. You'd think do-able too.

The big worry would be that he’s not had a preseason and is still coming back from injury, so would probably end up missing quite a few games to begin with

We can’t demand Johnston. He has to agree to the deal, he can’t be forced to sign for us. If he enjoyed his time at WBA he might fancy going back there.

As long as Arblaster stays I'm not too worried.... hopefully Hamer stays too.

I'd genuinely prefer Anel, Slimane, Trusty and I think Souza to go as I fear (not so much Slimane coz who gives a shit) they'll sulk and disrupt the squad if they don't get their moves.
