According to the local press in Suffolk, McGoldrick is in two minds what to do next in his career. His contract at Ipswich expires in a few months so he is openly stating he has some tough thinking to do between now and January. Would be a good signing in my mind. At 29 he's no spring chicken but has the attributes to do well in a team that plays the way we do.

Hasn't scored at a good rate sine 2013/14. But he's started this season OK. I think he's a confidence player, and he has good attributes, so maybe he could do well in our team. He'd give us something different.

No thanks. Decent striker but not what we need. I would take someone a bit quicker that can run beyond like a Devante Cole for instance. Other than that we have a good array of strikers with different abilities.

Sooner we went for Ipswich's other rising star, who will be heading back to his club in Jan from Rotherham and that is young Keifer Moore.

Looks a real decent sort. Excellent in the air. Holds the ball up well and is a leading scorer in league 1
