Linked with him today.
The Millwall goalie David Forde is in demand after his club failed to win promotion to the Championship, despite him saving a penalty against Leeds in the semi-final.
He is now entering the final year of his contract and he is keen to move up to a higher league after finally getting a full season as first choice goalie at 29 years of age.
In the last six years Forde has been shunted around, and has had spells with West Ham (0 appearances!), Bernet (7), Derry City (6), Cardiff City, (7), Luton Town (5), Bournemouth (11) and then finally Millwall where he made 46 appearances last season.
His consistency at Millwall and their run to the play-off Final has put his talents in the spotlight, and he wants to take advantage of that and would love a move to a bigger club right now. And it looks like Wigan, Middlesbrough and Sheffield United are willing to give him that chance.
