it says 6'2" on main page... was he wearing platforms when he was first measured or is he slowly shrinking....

by the time he lines up on Saturday he could be smaller than Scougall lol
Looking at the video I think he,s 6ft4 as Adkins is 6ft and he is a lot taller than him

Adkins quotes him as being 6ft2 in interview. I dont think two inches makes that much difference..........................

Apparently Edgar is on his way to Rotherham, he met Collins in the car park and he directed him elsewhere ;)

He looks a taller slimmer version of Michael Higdon in the youtube interview.

extract from interview with Birmingham manager

"I am really amicable with Dave and said 'Look if you get an opportunity and it's a good opportunity for you, we certainly won't fund any move but if you can get someone who's interested in regular football and comes up with a loan deal that's suitable for us so we can add to the funds we've got to strengthen, I think that's important"

so it looks like we are picking up 100% of his wages.

Yep, expect it'll be the same re: Sammon too.

I hope he does well, however looks like a cheap option considering the resources many say we have.

Today's over-used Adkins interview phrase is "draw a line under it".

Interesting comments at 6 minutes re: Long. In no way was the game plan to kick it upfield to Sharp/Adams from goalkicks. Implied criticism given to both Long (for reverting to the easier option) and the crowd behind him for that. Pretty much echoes what a lot of us who were there have said about the abuse having an effect. That being said, makes it a little stranger that he was left on.

I wasn't there and I know our fans generally like to have a pop at the youth first, however were Collins and McEverley given a free ride. I can't imagine some of our bladey blades left McFadzean to his own devices?

The problem with listening to what the many say is that it's actually the few who know the truth, and I'd like to bet almost none of the few are on this board :-(
That's cryptic.

image.jpg Just had a walk round docklands area got some admiring glances at my black Adidas training top. One woman said after I walked past "would you Adam and Eve it. That's who that David Edgar signed for. The one who's name is nearly Edgar Davids. Nigel Adkins must have spent all Sunday ont dog n bone to him."

Keith Edwards was slaughtering McEv for dropping deep to pick to the ball up from the keeper.

That's hilarious. A goal kick in the first half essentially meant conceding the ball seconds later - be it due to Sharp and Adams unsurprisingly being unable to win a header against their centre-halves, or due to Long himself kicking the ball straight out.

And rightly so if all McEverley did was pass it straight back to Long putting him under pressure to lamp it down field. As Keith said what is the point of rolling the ball out to the centre backs if they immediately pass it back to the keeper who then has to boot it long and hard down the pitch. It is pointless.

Just got round to listening to the interview:
  • Deal was on the cards last week - so, just in case it needed clarifying, it wasn't panic buying
  • Knows Bash from when they were both teenagers at Newcastle
  • Was promoted with Burnley
