Bloody hell. Only just seen this, he was hit last month by a car on a golfing trip in Arizona. Injured his knee and career was left in tatters. Apparently had career saving surgery.

Liked the look of Edgar in the early days, reminded me a little of a Gary Cahill. Slow but calm and dominating.

However the issue with defenders is that their success or failure is so dependent on the players and goalie around them. It's the defensive unit that counts.

Our goalie and defence had confidence issues so Edgar was always going to struggle to impress in that situation.
