Despite Deane's goals that Liverpool video annoys me every time I see it, Whitehouse' goal being chalked off is criminal!

Looked up in google, the only time Ian Walker played at BDTBL was in our 2-0 win in April 1992. Deane scored the 2nd goal at the Kop End but it wasnt like you had described. I think David Barnes crossed low and Deane slotted the ball from about 8 yards past Ian Walker who was positioned near the goalline. There wasnt much Walker could do about preventing the goal

Walker played at BDTBL for Leicester City in '03.

thanks.. i don't know what is happening to my brain these days.. all those mind numbing 0-0 draws last season don't seem to have done me any good ;)

You are a very narrow minded person! Still refusing to check if we were more successful with Tracey in goal than with Kelly

You have two rules in your life
1. Pinchy is always right
2. when wrong, look at rule number 1

Dont know who we were most successful with I just know I preferred Kelly in goal to Tracey myself.

Why was the other 'goal' disallowed?
It has always been a puzzle to me. There were other goals that I thought were good but it was disallowed. In the 0-0 draw at Huddersfield in March 1972, Gil Reece struck a lovely bender from outside the box over the keeper and into the net but it was disallowed. We had another "good" goal disallowed some minutes later. In the same season at Coventry (re-arranged match)TC scored a good goal which would have clinched a hat trick but the ref disallowed it
