He's Tony's son, From Vital Football:
Sheffield United have signed Chelsea youngster Danny Philliskirk on a one month loan.
The attacker, 19, spent a month on loan at Oxford United earlier in the season, and has now joined the Blades so they can assess him. Son of former striker Tony, who played for the Blades in the eighties, Danny is a graduae of the Oldham Athletic youth system, but was picked up by Chelsea at a young age.
A permanent fixture in the current Premier League champions' reserve team, Philliskirk will be part of the new "developmental squad" that the Blades are urging towards as they look at talented yougsters elsewhere, such as the new Irish duo David McAllister and Seamus Conneely. However, whether he is likely to feature in the first-team is unknown.
Philliskirk was captain of Chelsea's Youth Team squad, and played alongside former Blade Jacob Mellis in the reserve team. He also has three caps for England at Under 17 level.
