Crowd For Hull

I'll be there with my old man.

I'm always perplexed by how the pigs get bigger crowds than us, this needs to stop and this season is the time to right that wrong.
Because they've been in the Championship a good few years and have had 2 near misses to get to the Prem.. This ensured they had big Season Ticket sales. Fact is in their first season back in the Championship they averaged about 21000. Not sure if you're really a Blade because your statement is b******t.

Just seen they only got 23,403 against Millwall. Surely that's just the number locked out?
Actual attendance was less than 20000. ST 's added on for non attendees.

I am only going if I can take my pet marmot and he is officially counted in the attendance figures... :p:D

in reality I am not going but wish I was, will be at home in Hemel Hempstead looking after my three little ones and checking my phone every 1.3 seconds after kick off, and cheering from a far. :(

Commiserations. Jr and I will attempt to enjoy it a bit more than usual, to compensate. If you drink enough, fast enough, then squat on yer haunches and intone "Ommmmmmmmmmmm", you may be able to tap into our (cough) "matchday experience" by osmosis.

:)

Cheers Dude, Will log in just after kick off.... :p:D

If you look on the ticket sales stadium plan it looks like tomorrow will be our biggest home support of the season.

Probably sell about 26,500 home ticket plus whatever Hull bring, which I reckon will be surprisingly low and similar to what Ipswich brought (1,100).

So I reckon 27,600 for tomorrow, the biggest crowd of the season.

Regards Wednesday, there’s some shenanigans going off there.
I know someone why wen to the Wed v Barnsley game and he estimated about 24K there max (he said no where near the official 27K that was given).

Seems they are counting in tickets where people aren’t turning up, so lots of empty seats at S6.

conclusive evid
Thankfully we don't have to play Mark Duffy at home. I'd be worried about getting twisted and turned all over the place.

I took a short cut across the rec the other day and Duffy was out there on his own, training by himself. He'd just got a new casey he told me. And he was trying it out. I told him how I used to be a key player in the Sheffield pub leagues a few years ago and challenged him to some one on ones. Ha! He thought it would be easy but I gave him a good run for his money. Although this is how I ended up!

There’ll be more at the lane tomorrow come what may than they took to the Wembley semi

Regarding that game...what a fantastic performance by our lads and not least our magnificent fans who out-sang them and brought a lump to my throat when we all applauded after their winning goal went in and we knew we were beaten. Never forget that. One of the greatest moments following the Blades in almost 50 years. But, did any of you notice the big screens at half-time? The camera focused on a rather attractive blond Blade-Bird, who, on realising the camera was upon her, gestured towards the Hull fans and mouthed..."you wankers!". :D I was with my kids, aged 15 and 12 back then. I don't use that kind of language in front of them, and they me neither, but we all saw it at the same time and I just looked at them and we all burst out laughing! Another great moment!

Longshot but anyone with a spare ticket fancy donating it to a very worthy cause? :)

Finances tight and I've still not found that magic money tree...

If they only bring around 1,100 they should be embarrassed, one of their more local games and its a few years since we played em in the league, they should sell out, what is it nowadays round 2,400? If they dont they are more tin pot than I thought, its a fuckin city fir Christ's sake.

Attendance:
24,388

Crowd at Wolves tonight, peasants.
