Cricketers to sell "unique" ale

According to their FB page The Cricketers is to sell a Kelham Island brewery beer called Red and White Wizzard that will only be available in there,I may well give it a try Its available from Saturday.

Called in Tuesday after Donny on way home and although some of the paint probably wasnt dry it looked as though it could become a regular call again.All the usual faces in from days gone by.

Does the landlord know how to keep real ale properly or is it just a conveyor belt process?

My understanding is he`s a guy with lots of experience in the trade and has recently had the Hatfield at Crookes as well as bars abroad

Big Malc - run the Woodseats into the ground, top bloke but spoilt that boozer. Hes a 100% blade and follows them wherever they go so i presume he'd like to make this his new home.

I was in after the Donny game, they had rushed to get it open so it was a little bare. Think Mal will make a go of it, I got a free pint so Im not complaining . Looking forward to some of the ales he will be serving
