Strengthening defence (centre) with 2 players of quality and experience at least at this level is a must if we are aiming for a top 10 finish, get these in and add a touch more pace, and I'm sure we could achieve this aim, top 6 will depend on how well Bill and Ched perform together, if they hit optimum form and ched can get back to where he was then who knows, top 6 would be possible in my view.

We need a few more signings yet.
The team has some ability but we are a long way off challenging the top six.
Our midfield of Coutts, Fleck, Duffy have a good understanding and have real technical ability but they will get completely overrun in certain games that are not going too well for us due to lack of physical strength and athleticism

But, players that do have physical strength and athleticism also need to be able to play as well otherwise it will just naturally revert back to hoofball and missing Fleck out altogether........just like we did with Leon Britton

The key to our success next season is our team spirit
The championship , on what I viewed last season was very mediocre , if anything its not stronger but far weker than when we left it
The teams thats fallen out of it since we left show theres no big clubs anymore , just former big clubs in steep decline
2010–11 Preston North End (42), Sheffield United (42), Scunthorpe United (42)
2011–12 Portsmouth (40), Coventry City (40), Doncaster Rovers (36)
2012-13 Peterborough United Wolverhampton Wanderers Bristol City
2013–14 Doncaster Rovers Barnsley , Yeovil Town
2014–15 Millwall , Wigan Athletic Blackpool
2015–16 Charlton Athletic Milton Keynes Dons , Bolton Wanderers
2016–17 Blackburn Rovers Wigan Athletic , Rotherham United

4 have been relegated to league 2

regarding teams going up to the championship , 4 have gone on to the prem only 6 have come down again out of 21 teams promoted, 15 have stayed up
