and we got to see robbo cheer for a goal, whooo!

I think both teams were similar in passing and knocking it long, we just had that more desire that's all. They also gave ball away a lot, i was disappointed in them to be fair.

lets face it, man citehs defence is poor and there poor away from home.

we played well on the counter, and as i have said we passed it round abit. but we also played it long a fair few times.

we compare them to warnock because he was the last manager and everyone remembers him and its easy to compare too.

Can't you just enjoy a good win??

I will.

:)

all i said was we referred to warnocks style of play, nothing grumbling about the performance there?

how we take it into the watford game.

Anyone else agree with Keenzy??

Nobody every agrees with Keenzy, just for the hell of it. If he told me it was dark outside at midnight I'd go and check.;)

must have been superstars then, when ive tried playing the ball short in the mud it down work.

simon stainrod anyone?

Trevor Hockey anyone? Alan Woodward anyone? Not forgetting the finest player I've ever seen play for us, and probably ever will, a certain Tony Currie. I believe the pitches were a little muddy in his day.

Funny you know. Warnock's players with Warnock's tactics.

Thing is though, they are now Robson's players under Robson's stewardship.

They've played for other managers than Warnock and will play for others again... We need to get away from Neil Warnock.

He gets the critisism, so he must get the praise, he and his players got it spot on.

Fair do's, but it makes a mockery of his comments last week, doesn't it?

or was it just the magic of the f.a cup which everyone keeps going on about :D

I am fully prepared to offer credit where it's due and would gladly shake Robbo's hand after the performance against Man City. However, I would suggest that he didn't put out his first choice 11 for this game so I hope he's learnt some lessons from the performances put in by Stead, Squinny and Morgan in particular. I'm sure he knows, as we do, the kind of performance capable of Luton Shelton but must be frustrated by his inconsistency.

I just wish he'd have put some muscle on Akpo Sodje at Hillsborough in the shape of Morgan and put some pace on the pitch with John Stead at the very least. So before I start forgiving Robson for Hillsborough I'm going to wait and see what kind of team he puts out tonight - and if he does show that he's learnt some lessons then he has to admit he was wrong and stand up and be counted for his part in the pitiful performances this season as well as taking praise for Saturday.

I think it was MattH that pointed out to me "pace isn't everything". Well sorry pal but it was pretty much everything against Man City.
