Neither does Pochettino. Arsenal have replaced one has-been (Mertesacker) with another (Luiz). Solskjær isn't up to the job. Wolves are letting the Europa Checkatrade Cup drag them back. Watford, Bournemouth, Newcastle & Villa are iffy.

When we survive, it'll be the weakest premier league season in living memory.

Remember that...towards our fans 2nd half?

We got all our wins before Xmas last time and all deserved hard fought 1-0s. Outside of that we were garbage. Remember two bits of Stead magic at Blackburn and Chsrlton but even then we only got one point. Recall shouting at Kenny to move across as Pedersen took a free kick inn the 94th minute. It went in. Also recall a fluky cross shot from a Charlton player sailing over Kenny.

Every other away game post Xmas we were awful...Liverpool, Chelsea (Hulse leg break), Man Utd (although Shelton should have won a pen and playing 10 men at 1-0 I think?) We just threw up the white handkerchief. Villa away summed it up when we were 2-0 down after 15 mins and did not have a kick.

Can't even remember the rest of the games away but other than Charlton don't think we got a point after that Wigan game....we lost at Portsmouth, Boro, Reading and Bolton also.

We got 1 point from the last 10 away games!

The 1-0 away win at Newcastle will always stick in my memory. The usual, "inch perfect" trademark pass from the midfield maestro himself, Nick "Monty" Montgomery, to Danny Webber, who volleyed it in.

As for the current Premier League, I was shocked at Spurs losing at home yesterday, but maybe I shouldn't be. I guess the top two are already decided but the rest of the league is wide open?

As awful as Spurs were, credit to Newcastle who looked like the solid, 10 men behind the ball, anti-football team of last season again.

Will we go away to a big club and set up like that though? I don’t think we know how to.

Problem I see though is that when these to scared to play football teams go down to a goal is what’s their options ,

9th after 3 games. I think we would all have taken that. Yes, it could have been better, but it is what it is. Bring on the Blues and are they going to change their tactics to stop us and not vice versa like Leicester did?

You say 9th, I say joint 14th!
