Craig Beattie Hopeless striker or great player?

I heard on football heaven on monday night someone talking about this and ive had mixed opinions on him from other so i wondered what you all thaught?

Personally i think hes not a half bad player but just cant finish

I'm with you on that one as well. He's the best striker we have until it comes to the box. We need him outside and Lupoli inside

If beattie could score / shoot half as good as he breaks and gets clear of defenders he'd be an absolute star.
Some of his getting free of the offside trap by defenders is down to perfect timing and great speed, then he cacks it all up with poor finishing:nono:
