Coverage of Academy Matches

All advertisments are hidden for logged in members, why not log in/register?




Thing is, it'll be the Academy lads who are most upset as they were the ones who loved to see photos of themselves playing (to show off to birds, I'm assuming).
 
Not even youth games?

Well we aren't "permitted" to take pictures of first team matches, which we know, licensing blah blah... but he's been advised this morning that he's not allowed to take them at youth matches, which he used to do overtly, now.
 
We'll have to get a consent form going round, because the parents I've spoke to are more than happy to have the photos and really appreciate what me and Foxy have been doing!
 
The official site do have match reports. But if you click on the Under 18s page you get two news stories.

When people go out of their way to help the club with some extra, free coverage, appreciated by a lot of fans, why do the club try to stop them?

Blimey is it the protection of children paranoia stopping things? How bizarre.
 
Call me cynical but I don't think child protection is anything to do with it.

John Jnr is currently coaching at the academy.
 



Ah excellent. I realised as soon as I asked which Pemberton that John would be too old for the academy, he must be about 21 now.
