Is it just me, or does his mobility look restricted ?

Does not seem to be moving about the pitch in the silky smooth way I have become accustomed to.

And I’m not sure that all of it is down to “match” fitness.

I do hope I am wrong !!

I think he looks a bit too muscular. Especially in the neck and shoulders

Maybe (to all above).

But his running stride appears to be completely different to me, which would indicate maybe all is not well !!

I never thought mobility was a trait that I particularly attached to him. Regardless he’s had a long period of recuperating and is bound to be off the pace for a while. We just have to accept it, be patient and hope he comes close to the form of the previous season and a half.

Not surprising. Your whole movement and muscle memory changes. Won't be the same Coutts until next season. He'll manage this season but it won't be natural. As long as he can climb on that promotion bus, no wuriz. :D

United are managing him properly
He's getting time on the field in games were winning so there is no pressure on him to produce too much, just get back up to speed.

He's not going to be playing at 100% after what happened for quite some time

Agree he won't be as good for a while yet but he may come good about later on in the season which may be the boost we need ;)
I'm not expecting the same levels of comedy as when Evans needed a pre season.

I never really thought of him as a particularly mobile player. He is capable of getting around, but he's not exactly the most athletic person in the world.

Definitely too early, but he has come on and to me looks like he’s a bit unsure of his role. Nit picking to the max to be fair. A year out is a long time

What an out and out crock of horse shit .

Of course he doesn't look 100% yet because he fucking well isn't.

Funny thing these broken legs and almost a year out of the game, for some reason it takes more than 90 minutes of competitive football to regain full fitness and match sharpness

Paul Coutts has always run like he's shit himself - he's also been out a year, give him til Christmas at least

We ❤️ Crocks of Pure Unadulterated Horseshit.

I demand a statement.

He did a nice little shimmy on the edge of their box on Saturday that left two of their players for dead, so I think he's coming along nicely thank you.........:)

He’s always looked relatively immobile to me. But it doesn’t matter when you know what you’re opponent is going to do before he does, and when your first touch is so tight you’ve always got time on the ball. But that’s enough about me, I hope Coutts gets well soon...
