Boy is Lundy stepping up to the plate, took a few of games but wow is he now stepping on the gas. His pedigree is A+ and now he's showing it, another Wilder bomb.

I'm assuming you mean on this forum, since there was only one player the fans ran to raise onto their shoulders at Northampton last season.Billy Sharp was suffering after those 30 goals last season that barely anyone bothered to notice.
I pondered today whether Coutts will have to wait his turn when he’s fit. Lundstram still has plenty of room for improvement, but his confidence and influence is growing with each game.
That's a tiny bit rich from someone as obsessed as you are with a certain player![]()

Yeah, i'm really interested to see how they get on vs Bolton, in what is very likely to be quite different kind of game to what we've seen recently. Whilst not 'physical' players, or target men, both have a physical edge to their game which could come in useful against a side which has seen a slight upturn in results recently.Leon and Don deserve to be ahead of him right now. No doubt at all about that.
Yeah I agree completely. I think though to ask the question is a compliment to Lundstram, and if he carries on like this then he should be able to keep his place when there are more options in midfield. Not in the least. They can play together. They have different qualities You can’t have too many good players. Let them battle it out with Fleck and the rest. It can only be good for us.
But no, you don’t leave out your Rolls-Royce when it’s firing on all cylinders.

Honestly I'd be quite happy to see both start with Sharp coming on later in the game, it's not a bad option to have at all.

They’re both deceptively quick and work hard too. More so than Billy.
This is not an anti-Sharp matter. He has admirable qualities. Just a reflection on where we are right here; right now. On that basis, he’s rightly on the bench. Over to him to change it. That’s how it should be.

My worry about Coutts is he took ages to regain his form after his last serious injury.
Understandable, but I wouldn't worry too much about it. At that point in his career he was not only coming back from said injury but had also dropped down a league to play for us. A new club and different environment in a lower league and having to prove oneself all whilst having the fear of injury hanging over you is a tough situation, as we saw with his path back to form.My worry about Coutts is he took ages to regain his form after his last serious injury.
Sharp was shit yesterday and did fuck all I’m glad he wasn’t playing.
Looking forward to the Sharp obsessed bell end admitting that without Coutts in the side the tweak in style to accommodate that loss means Sharp is less effective and rightly occupying the bench.
As for Lundstram, I’m chuffed for the kid. Completely unfair to compare him to the finished article Coutts when he’s hardly played since he arrived and therefore has a lot of catching up to do to find his feet in the side.
As I always say, I’m happy to trust the man who’s achievements earned the respect to trust his judgement regarding players and who we sign.
There won't be 'pressure' to bring Coutts back too soon.I’m with you on that one, hence why it’s importnat we get a midfielder in this January and remove any pressure to put Coutts back in before he is ready. A fully fit, confident and relaxed Coutts is what we need, not the one that arrived from Derby.

He's out for the season so he won't be expected back on the pitch until next pre-season earliest.
