Imagine this-
United win there first 5 games, running in 15 goals and conceding just 2.
Would it change your views on Danny boy.:fatbastard::hello:

Opinion would quickly change given a very good run. Base don the shower of shite we currently employ, there's next to no chance of that happening or Wilson being given the chance to address it.

UTB

How about a double over Wednesday with Wilson showing emotion and thumping the air running down the touchline as we batter them 3-0 and swillsborough? Would that change anyones mind?

I've always liked him as a manager so no bother for me. But he will need a miracle start to give himself a chance here. And like Alco says, he ain't got the tools.

No. He pushes all my buttons which trigger the punch repeatedly until unrecognisable response. I cannot stand the man.

All this on the basis of minimal information, of course. Interviews, body language and the like. It's just my gut response.

I could take to any manager who fulfills the brief:

1.) Put a team out that plays good football
2.) Wins matches

Well, maybe I couldn't take to Megson. That would just be beyond the pale.

if he took us up i would not like him still as he is ex owls and rant over the club gone for a cheap option.

Wilson running down the touchline at Swills is never going to happen.
He will have too much respect for his piggy pals.

We would have to have results like Norwich did this season at Ipshize for most of us to contemplate a modicum of acceptance. He is no Paul Lambert that's for sure.

he is gonna have t give one hell of a speech tomorrow at the press conference to win over the fans to even give him a chance to make it past the 1st 5 games.

saying he hates wednesday and wiping his backside on a wednesday shirt and even that may not do it LOL

I think people are confusing the issue here.

At a time where we needed unity and 'true blades' together McCabe took the decision to appoint a man, not only a failed former sheffield wednesday manager, but really a manager of not great shakes to take this club forward. Personally I would love Wilson to win 46 out of 46 next season and hold him above my head as I walk through Hillsborough Corner. I just think the chances of Wilson being successful are very small, not only because he is not very good in my opinion but because as soon as that pass goes astray on the 1st day and we don't win a game people will immediately question the move.

Why on earth would anyone who's money depends on this take this risk.. It just strikes of pure arrogance. He obviously doesn't want the extra 4000 season tickets getting someone like RDM would attract and the players we do actually want to keep next year really will give up on us. If you worked for a firm like that what would you do.

For the love of god I hope Wilson is a success but it has little chance of success because people are waiting for this to fail

if he gets the ball on the deck.. gets rid of the hoof it dinosaurs and we start to make progress i'll be backing him to the hilt

I'm not so sure about that.
Don't forget they sacked him when he was doing the decent thing to relegate them.
He could have an axe to grind which is maybe why he applied for the job.

Id be able to take to him if he resigned tomorrow a second after being announced as manager.
