We need to take a step back. Calm heads and make sure we make the right decision with next season in mind. Even if that means we have a caretaker for the rest of the season.

A - Do we already have someone lined up?
B - If not then which pool are we looking in? Do we want someone with Championship experience? Foreign? Both?
C - Are we looking for a DOF/Coach model or traditional Manager
D - Which squad players are we keeping? Who should be sold or released?
E - Youth - which youth players could be successfully integrated?
F - Budget. Who should over see transfers and who should we go for?

It could do, it might not..wilders done wonders for us and I'm sorry to say I wasn't happy when he first came, but did he prove me wrong? A million percent he did lol. I wish today was just a dream and wake up and see he's still our gaffer. Has much as I love the guy, I think he as taken us as far as he can at the moment. Yes we are going down but he would be the right manager to have to bring us back up. No body expected us to be playing prem football 3 years ago and doing as good as we did last season, even him. With wilder I think we might have been a yo yo club like west Brom and Norwich for the next few seasons but so f#ck. I'd rather be a yo yo club in and out of prem with him than disappearing into the wilderness with a managers coming and going more time than katie prices husband's.

They have no idea what they are doing. We have witnessed years in the wilderness then Wilder comes along and gives us what we have wanted for over a decade. We hit a blip and the mardy arses come out.

The folks on here wanting him to go are frankly idiots, I question if they actually go and have witnessed the crap we have to endure prior to Wilder.

For certain they do not go to away matches because the bond between fans players and Chris is/was something special.

After this awful season I truly believed- Chris would have learnt even more and brought us charging back.

Yes without doubt this will take us back to mediocrity.

And for all the dross that is talked about post match interviews, to see a down to earth bloke like Chris talking about his new team- will break any true Blades hearts.
