Let's face it, what he's good at is receiving the ball from the back four and passing to feet...the link man if you like. Surely he could sit in front of the 'D' and do that on crutches.

Captain Blade used to be on crutches, or at least one of them, when he first started. Now he doesn't have any - anybody ever noticed that?

Speaks volumes for the club physio imo.
